FAQ’s

  • We always start with a coach-led warmup with stretching and movement to get your blood pumping. Then we work on specific movements that will happen during the workout. After that, we hit the workout hard. The last 10-15 minutes are dedicated to cooling down and stretching.

  • Any level of experience is welcome. Our coaches are experts in scaling and adapting workouts to any and all skill levels.

  • According to Crossfit®

    “We have always said the needs of an Olympic athlete and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. By that we mean CrossFit works for anyone, because the functional movements we train are essential to improving fitness and maintaining functional independence. For example, on a deadlift day, one athlete may move a barbell weighing 400 lb while the other moves a broomstick. With appropriate scaling, an athlete will make significant fitness gains by working at their relative level of physical and psychological tolerance.”

  • Every coach is at least a CrossFit L1 certified trainer. We will never hold a class without a certified coach in charge.

  • One of the biggest fitness myths is that you're too old. We have no upper age limit and strongly encourage senior citizens to take control of their health by exercising daily.

  • Absolutely! Our coaches are experts at scaling and adapting movements to ALL participants. Come as you are and leave better than you came.

  • No way! We promote a welcoming culture and avoid cliques and other exclusive behavior. Barbells, rig stations, and all other equipment is first-come-first-serve.

  • Gym clothes and gym shoes. We focus on weightlifting, cardio conditioning, and gymnastic movements. You'll need to wear clothes that move and stretch with you. There are things like specialized shoes and grips that are advantageous for CrossFit performance but are by no means required. Here are a few brands that provide CrossFit specific shoes:

  • Nope, we have everything you need. Our equipment is state-of-the-art, clean and maintained regularly.

  • Our facilities include private restrooms with showers and towels, drinking fountains, smoothie bar, access to Zephyrs Fitness, a 24 hour gym, locker room, auxiliary gym, and more!

  • We will put your membership on hold on a case-by-case basis. Simply email your request to Rebekah Shalala.
