Hi, my name is Beka! I am the manager of CrossFit Orrville.  Pictured with me is my dog, Remy.  You will see us a lot in the gym.  Well, you’ll probably see me more than you’ll see Remy but every once in a while, Remy makes an appearance.  He’s a fan favorite.

OK, enough about us.  I’d like to introduce you to our outstanding coaching staff!

I am originally for Norwalk, OH and graduated from Norwalk High School in 2013. During my high school career, I played both softball and volleyball, and spent most of my days off weightlifting in the gym. After high school, I continued playing volleyball through my freshman year, then began powerlifting in 2014. In 2016, I found CrossFit and it became a passion of mine!

I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science and went on to receive my CF-L1 in 2019. I also completed the CrossFit Kids Specialty Course in 2020. I am a firm believer in the importance of functional movement. As an Exercise Physiologist, I understand the benefit of performing these movements; seeing remarkable improvement in your everyday life. Fitness is a lifelong journey, not a destination!  CrossFit is for everyone! There is always a place for you no matter your previous injuries, size, age, etc.  Come on in and get started, we’d love to meet you!

I am from Norton, OH and graduated from Hametown Christian Academy in 2020. I am currently a college student at the University of Akron Wayne College studying a degree in nursing.

In Middle School, I was a volleyball athlete. In High School, I began karate at a local mixed martial arts studio. After 3 ½ years of karate, I became a black belt in 2019. After earning my black belt, I wanted to try something new. I heard about CrossFit Orrville through Zephyrs Fitness and through friends that were athletes at CFO. Because I love weightlifting and gymnastics, I decided to try CrossFit. Little did I know that I would soon fall in love with it!

In the winter of 2020, I started attending CrossFit Orrville. I earned my CF-L1 in the summer of 2020. I love how CrossFit incorporates metabolic conditioning, weightlifting, and gymnastics together in different workouts. CrossFit allows me to excel in multiple areas of fitness, not just specializing in one area. I love how CrossFit gives me the confidence to share my personal fitness journey with others. Hope to see you in class!

I am originally from Western Ohio but moved to Wooster in 2007 to earn my A.A.S. in Agribusiness. I now live in Smithville with my husband and three children! I also earned my B.A. in Education and English in 2022.

From 2010 to 2018, between marriage and three children, I consistently sought to stay active and in shape with whatever I could squeeze in: running, at-home workouts, and softball and basketball leagues. I have always desired to be strong and capable no matter my stage of life, but I had yet to find a routine that fulfilled that desire.

In 2018 I worked up the courage to attend my first CrossFit class as a 30th birthday present to myself and I never looked back! CrossFit enables me to use my limited time as efficiently as possible to become my strongest self. Recently, I earned my CF-L1! I look forward to working with the members of CrossFit Orrville!

I have been a Certified L1 CrossFit Trainer since 2014.  I am a powerlifter’s daughter who grew up in the gym learning safe mechanics of the squat, bench and deadlift.  Along with a powerlifting background, I have experience in power tumbling and Olympic lifting.  I graduated from Orrville High School and went to the University of Toledo, where I hold the University’s school record in the Pole Vault.  While at Toledo, I obtained two undergraduate degrees; one in Professional Sales and one in Supply Chain Management.  I continued my education at UT and graduated with my Master’s degree in Leadership in 2017.

My enthusiasm lies in helping others and is motivated by others achieving their goals.  I have the ability to evaluate skill level and help elite athletes and beginners, alike, reach a sense of accomplishment.

If I was offering advice, I would say, “Never underestimate the power of you.  You are capable.  You are strong.  You are confident.  You can do this!”

I am a former college athlete from the University of Toledo where I obtained my undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate degree. I currently work in Wooster at Crithfield, Critchfield and Johnston as an Associate Attorney.

I found CrossFit after my collegiate athlete career came to an end. It was a way for me to incorporate some of my favorite things about exercise and learn new things, too.

I hold a CF-L1 and my USA Weighlifting Certification. My passion is helping people be the best version of themselves, all while keeping it real and fun.

You'll find me in class as an athlete most days, but do coach on the Saturday roster! See ya around!

I am originally from West Salem, OH and graduated from Northwestern High School in 2013.  While in high school, I competed in football, wrestling, and track and field. After high school, I went to Hocking College for Fitness Management and discovered powerlifting.  I loved the idea of lifting heavy and in 2014, I found CrossFit at a gym called TrueFit Athletics, in Lancaster, OH.  After graduating college, I interned and then worked full time for a couple years at TrueFit Athletics.  In addition to my degree in Fitness Management, I am a CF-L1 trainer, an American Council of Exercise Group Fitness Instructor, and a Certified Personal Trainer.

I love the strength and conditioning aspects of CrossFit.  I am very passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals - no matter how big or how small. I believe every athlete is coachable, as long as they’re willing to listen and work hard to improve!
